Examples of My Ableton Sound Engineering
Beats that I’ve made using Ableton are either all made by me or inspired by movie soundtracks or pre existing songs. I’ve been sound engineering on Ableton for two years. I’ve learned a lot so far and hope to continue to learn about this vast music making software.

Title: The Batman Beat, I got inspired by the main theme from the new Batman movie when it first came out. I sampled and looped the main theme and put a trap beat over it, making a whole new different sound.

Title: The Shining Beat, This one I made pretty recently after re-watching The Shining to get into the Halloween spirit. The next day I got on Ableton and cooked up a beat with the sample I used from the theme.

Title: Soul Bossa, This is more of a light hearted beat I made after I first watched Austin Powers. I really liked the main theme song and decided to sample it and make a beat from it.

My setup that I use to create beats. Along with using the Ableton software, I also use an Arturia Minilab keyboard when making my own sounds.
Instruments
My interest in percussion began in middle school. I started with drum pads and lessons. I never had my own set but then in high school, my uncle lent me his set and I’ve enjoyed playing ever since. My learning to play continued with self-taught learning and progressed to music lessons playing electric and acoustic. Now I continue playing songs I know and make up my own songs too.
I got inspired to play guitar by my dad. Whenever he would play I felt it would be cool to as well so I started to learn. Learning guitar started with using videos and moved into having guitar lessons. Now I enjoy being able to play both instruments, whether it’s with other people in a band or just jamming alone.

Apparel
Apparel that I’ve designed and made. This includes shirts, hoodies, socks, and stickers. I learned to screen print as well as make my own website and use a manufacturer.

Title: Color Palette, One of my older designs that I made for my website. This is one of my favorite shirts from this era of my brand. I got inspired by a color palette hence the design on both the front and back.

Title: Kratos Bat, I made this design not too long ago and I’m really proud of how it turned out. I was interested in nocturnal creatures and thought of using a bat as the main layer. I wrapped the letters around the body of the bat and added a shadow to it.

Woodworking
Woodworking over the years that I have completed. My biggest project being the guitar that I built with some help from my dad built which took about 6 months to fully finish.

This was the first step in making the body of the guitar. I had to cut out the rough shape using a router, then use an electric sander to make the shape of the body more accurate. (2021, At home project, Individual and group work)

After rounds of sanding I was able to make the shape more accurate. Then I used the router again to cut some pieces out for the pickups. I also cut out the notch on top for the neck of the guitar. (2021, At home project, Individual and group work)

This is what I used for the electrical part of the guitar so the pickups actually work when using an amp. I had to strip, connect, and set wires for both the volume and tone knobs on the guitar.

This is the final product. I also taped up the guitar to spray paint it. It plays really well and I love how it turned out. The pickups sound amazing with the amp, I’m proud of the work I did on this project.
Drawing, CAD
Drawings that I’ve made in my Engineering classes throughout high school.

Title: Mechanical Pencil, One of the first drawings I made in Solid Works. I had to make a drawing of an everyday object for the assignment so I used a mechanical pencil. This is the exploded view I created after I made the 3D portion.

Title: Boat, This was another earlier drawing I made of a boat. We learned how to extrude and carve the unique shapes that you see in the boat.

Title: Car Rim, A newer drawing I made of a car rim. This was a more challenging drawing where I had to sketch out the side, extrude it, then cut the spokes out of the middle of the rim.
